AI compass

From experiment to habit. Where you stand today and what your next step is.

AI is probably already at work in your company, but not equally strong everywhere and not with everyones. The AI Compass shows where AI has become a habit in daily work and where it is still stuck in isolated experiments. You also see where your people are further along than what the organisation makes possible for them today.

Seven domains, each from two perspectives

Employees from every department and role complete an online questionnaire. Their answers are scored across seven domains. Hover over the compass to see what we measure in each domain.

Not a study about you, an answer for you

We don’t start from a model, but from the question you ask yourself as a business leader: where does AI already work, where does it stall, and what do we do now? The underlying model and questionnaire are proven; what you take away is a course for your own organization.

"The pressure to "do something with ai", without a view on what is already happening"

Employees use AI tools on their own, a few teams experiment, and somewhere a pilot is stuck. Nobody knows exactly what is really going on.

Leadership and the teams often see what is possible differently. As long as that gap stays undiscussed, initiatives pull in different directions.

Meanwhile, risks around data and safe use stay invisible, and investments are made too early, or too late.

Your own people give the answer
1

Align

Together we set the scope and who answers. That way the result speaks about your organization, not an average.

2

Your people answer

Leadership, IT, and employees answer the same questions, 15 to 20 minutes each. That way we see both the organization and the person.

3

The picture

We map where AI is already a habit, where it stays at experiments, and where your people are ahead of what the organization enables.

4

Three priorities

We discuss the result and set three priorities, each with an owner and a deadline. That is your course.

Four answers and one course
✓Where AI has become a habit in daily work
✓Where it stalls at isolated experiments
✓Where your people are further along than what the organization enables
✓Where leadership and teams see what’s possible differently
✓Three priorities, each with an owner and an agreed deadline
✓A management report that doubles as your baseline
Where the three priorities usually lead
Online questionnaire

Not an audit on the floor, but a questionnaire your people complete themselves, whenever it suits them.

Leadership, IT, and employees

The same questions for all three groups. The gap between their answers is exactly what starts the conversation.

Two to three weeks

From aligning on scope to the management report and the discussion of the three priorities.

A paid engagement, not a free scan

“Scan” has become a free product in the market: a questionnaire and a score. The AI Compass deliberately is not. Your key people invest time, and in return you get depth, neutrality, and three priorities with an owner.

After the compass, you decide whether and how to continue.

Not a score, but three priorities.

You see where AI is already a habit, where your people are further along than what the organisation makes possible for them today, and which three steps take priority now, each with an owner. The same measurement can be repeated a year later, so you see what has changed.

Every organization with purchase invoices has this problem

Unstructured in, structured into the ERP, following the same pattern. The building block is reusable across clients and sectors; only your rules and tolerance margins differ.

The questions that always come back
“Elsewhere this kind of scan is free. Why are we paying for it?”

Because this is not a questionnaire you fill in yourself and get a score from. Your key people invest time, and you receive a management report with three priorities and an owner per priority. That is exactly what a free scan does not do.

“We are nowhere with AI yet, is it not too early?”

That is precisely when it helps. The measurement also shows where your people already work with AI themselves without the organisation supporting it. That is usually the most surprising part of the report.

“Do we have to continue with CROPLAND afterwards?”

No. You decide yourself whether to take a next step. The report is usable without a follow-up: it names your three priorities and who picks them up.
